172.56.223.155 was blocked
172.56.218.29 was the new IP i got from DHCP after restarting the gateway
These are t-mobile residential internet CG-NAT IPs so I assume that in order for it to be of use to me 172.56.0.0/16 will need to be whitelisted as I have no way to know what the CG-NAT DHCP will serve next.

Ironic that neither of these IP addresses show up on any of the block lists shown here yet I’ve been blocked by MB a couple of times now.
Yes, the problem is this range is also used by bad AI bots we are trying to block.
I think my Tiscali IP 82.85.35.107 has been banned. Can you check?
Yes, it was blocked, used by a bot recently, check if you have access now.
Yes, it works. Thanks.![]()
Hi there! I recently started self-hosting and in trying to use MusicBrainz found out my QNAP probably got me on the denylist.
Is it possible to check (removed)?
This IP was blocked, unblocked now.
I’m unable to connect to the site using Chrome.
I get an
| (failed) | net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET |
|---|
In Firefox I get the warning
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to musicbrainz.org. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR
Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.:
But after retrying several times it works.
I doubt it is my IP being blocked but can you please check?
86.86.215.177
Hi! Wanted to give beets a try, but can’t reach musicbrainz with neither the browser, nor from the terminal from 109.252.147.231 IP. Tunnelling VPS (which I needed to use to post here) allows to browse the site, but still throws a lot of errors from beets. I think the VPS would likely to host more (since it’s quite the cheap one), so would it be possible to unblock the main IP?
Thanks in advance!
This isn’t blocked on our side.
Not blocked on our side.
Yep, seems like a government decision :\
Is 146.103.121.70 on a naughty boy list?
Are you in Russia? I believe they are the only ones who have put MB on their naughty list.
172.56.28.85
and when i reset the gateway I got
172.56.221.211
So I just have to keep doing this?
172.56.28.85 was used today by a fake google bot (a bot that disguises as legit Google Bot, but don’t use an IP from Google), and was blocked for 24h.
So your IP block is actively used by bad actors, you should report to your provider if you get blocked too often. They can even contact us for details.
On our side, the current situation with bad actors is so bad that we’ll continue to block them as soon they are detected, and we are sorry for that and the impact it has on our legit users.
Ok, I can one hundred percent assure you that T-Mobile residential internet will not give two shits about my service getting blocked because of bad actors so that’s simply a non-starter. Those people couldn’t find an IP address with two hands and a flashlight.
172.56.221.211 was blocked, I’m now using 172.56.28.61
I don’t know what to say except this is getting old. I just want to tag stuff with Picard.
Hello, is my IP blocked 103.18.34.234?
It’s my first time getting blocked, on Firefox it says: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Yesterday, it was working fine.
I tried using VPN, and it works, so I assume my IP is blocked here on the site. Can you please unblock it.
Thanks.
Yes, it was blocked, recently used by a bad bot, unblocked now, sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello!
Can you check if my IP is blocked ? 177.33.85.90
