Mass-adding artists or adding Artists in a sampler without relation to artist pages

I want to add a Sampler to musicbrainz (https://www.musik-sammler.de/media/955349/ and https://www.discogs.com/Various-St-Pauli-Einhundert/release/2256038).
When adding it i realized most of the Artists don’t exist in the database. Is there a possibility to add the release first and them later add the artist to the database, if theres a way to find out more about the artists?

Not really, but you can add “empty” artists (ideally at least with links to the relevant Discogs artist pages) first and further info can be added later by you or others.
