Manuscripts as artist?

I have a new entry that has works where the artist is unknown but on the disc the work is listed by the manuscript it is found in, e.g. Apt Manuscript (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apt,_Vaucluse) and the Cyprus manuscript (http://www.classicalarchives.com/composer/6563.html). Should these be treated as “[unknown]” or “[anonymous]” with the “listed as” being “Cyprus manuscript”, or should they be set up as composer?

about manuscripts may give you a way forward.
Wiser heads will hopefully arrive soon to answer your question directly but for the mean time I’d advise delaying making manuscripts into composers.

I’d generally use [anonymous] for this, and make a series for the manuscript as per the other post :slight_smile:
