Local cover art not recognized in 2.1.3?

I am in the process of re-working my library, specifically getting new artwork. And prior to this upgrade if i refreshed my folder.jpg/png and put it back in Picard it would show and transfer over the new artwork, now it is not. Any thoughts on this issue? Is this known or am I messing something up?

Hard to answer in general. The one I linked to was the latest development build at the time, and one I am rather confident does not break anything. We try to not introduce any bugs into what is the main development branch (known as the master branch, you can see the word “master” in the page I linked to), but during development all things can break.
