Lag between typing and appearance of information in Annotation section of Editions

This seems to only happen in Editions where there is quite a lag between typing information and its appearance in the Annotation section. It seems like years but I suppose it is about 8 to 10 seconds. I find it rather disconcerting😳

yes, for a few days now. Just in this specific field and nowhere else.

I did fix it, but that is not deployed yet !
So the issue is still very much a thing until we update the website again.

It took me a moment to find the source of the issue, because as you just experienced it only happens in certain circumstances.
You need to be creating a new Edition (or changing the name of an existing one), and have something written in the “name” field.
If both of those conditions are met, the page is drastically slowed down and that is most apparent when writing in the annotation box.

We should however have that patched today.
