Is this actually one release group?

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

There are EPs called The Dawn Raids, Part 1 and The Dawn Raids, Part 2 by Pineapple Thief. The database currently has them as two releases in the same group, simply called The Dawn Raids.

I think each should be in its own release group. Am I wrong about this?

You’re not wrong. Those should each be in their own release group, linked together via a series.

You can probably create a release group series linking them together if you want.

Follow up question: This release of Tightly Unwound contains both the EPs. How do I indicate that? As far as I can tell, I can only create an “includes” relationship between release groups, but that doesn’t seem right.

Why not? As I understand that’s exactly what that relationship is for.

I would naively interpret “release group X constains release group Y” as “every release of X contains Y”, but maybe I’m misundestanding the intention.

Oh yes, you’re right… there is no way to link them.
I have some releases of the same kind, waiting for some solution — cf. my comment in STYLE-331. :wink:
