Why do they distinguish OS X and macOS (they don’t split the other OSes)?

It’s a shame that few people wanted to write apps for Windows Mobile.
There aren’t enough apps for Linux either.
But there’s always the fun of “Linux and weird peripherals,” like SCSI or Turtle Beach.
