so whenever I (or others) have asked about this to Jason he always shoots this down as IA’s stance is to never rate limit, it will just naturally time-out if its overloaded.
of course that stance might now be changing in light of the recent events

There’s already write ratelimits for the wayback machine so I wouldn’t mind having it expanded a bit.
I can see why read rate limits are not wanted, but at the same time a dynamic rate limit that is only up in cases of very high traffic would actually serve more people than without, and prevent legit users from rerequesting stuff that got timed out

definitely, i am pro rate-limiting stuff as they’ve had issues before with people’s wonky AI models pounding the hell out of the content they host to “learn” about stuff
ok now everyone stay calm but, it would appear we are now able to re-add cover art (at least via beta)…

Is it wise to upload the covers now with the beta version. Still cant do it with the normal version of MB. I have over 600 releases to do so … ahhhhhhh I cant wait to start

Yeah there’s no problem with doing that - it all goes into the same CAA regardless if its live or beta
