If the cover type in the database is Front and Booklet, Picard does not download such a cover

It’s all clear now. I loaded a few files into Picard and it found these cover.

Actually you found something: If you had Picard 3 configured to load all images, not only front, then the first non-front image getting loaded would replace the front image. I added a ticket a proposed a fix:

I also merged your two threads that are essentially describing the same issue.
