I’m having a problem with some re-releases. MBP recognizes the original release and logically assumes that’s what it is dealing with. If the re-release has other tracks or versions or does not include some of the originals, these are highlighted. If I look up the album in the browser and find the correct re-release version, and can pull the MBID from that, where do I insert this in the application? Is that the ‘albumid’ or the ‘recordingid’?

if you right-click on a release in Picard, the context menu includes “Other versions”. That’ll let you select a different reissue.
