How to enter recording of concert on video site and link to released audio recording

I have a standalone recording that an artist threw up on the Internet Archive that I added a while back (this isn’t an actual advertised release by a label or anything). Today I found a video on YouTube where someone was filming the person playing.

I made a new standalone recording for the video, but when I went to link them I couldn’t decide on a relationship type. “Edit” or “Music video” were the only two that even sort of made sense, but neither really fits. Is there a recommended way to link these when they’re effectively just two different types of recordings of the same live concert (one from a phone camera, one pulled directly from the board?)

Alternatively, should I just have kept the original audio release and then added a link to the video on YouTube with the “Video” box checked even though they’re two separate recordings of the same thing?

I found a few other similar questions on here, but nothing that was exactly the same situation and it didn’t seem like anyone came to a definitive answer. Thanks!

I was having the same question a while back when I was processing data to add “events” from Grateful Dead concerts. My thought was to create the “event” then link the video to the “event”.

I do already have the video (and the recording) linked to the event, for what it’s worth, so they both show up on the event page. It would still make sense (in my mind anyways) to link the two together though so you know they’re the same part of the event
