AFAIK yes, just Single - you can add a disambiguation if you like to the release entity

Usually just a single. Sometimes I have seen people add (maxi CD) to the disambig if there are also 7" and 12" releases at the same time.

I saw this quote on an old Seal releaseā€¦

This one says maxi CD, itā€™s not a maxi single, IMO, it has 6 tracks, 6 works.
I would set it as an EP in MB, not as a single, like it currently is.
