Handling live performances with interviews from YouTube

Some older Audiotree Live releases have been added in two different ways, and I’m trying to figure out the right approach. I’ve got an example where the same session has been added twice, one with just the songs (https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/efb251a2-fb93-4fe7-ada8-7bed8e3437a5, track list based on the released EP) and one with a track for each interview segment as well (Release group “Audiotree Live” by PUP - MusicBrainz, track list based on the YouTube video).

My thoughts are that the interview parts aren’t actually tracks and should be removed, and that the releases should at least be combined into the same release group. The only part I’m not sure about is whether the YouTube version should count as a release (not commonly done anymore for Audiotree Live)?

I don’t know anything about Audiotree Live or the artists in question, but these do seem like genuinely different releases, since they have different formats (audio vs video) and numbers of tracks (6 vs 6+full session).

On the other hand, I think that you would be correct to remove the discussion tracks since they don’t appear in the linked playlist. Keep https://musicbrainz.org/track/2d37a03e-2fc1-4fcf-864a-e8f8dab2068b though, that does appear in the playlist.

The video linked to that last track contains the full video, should that potentially be it’s own video release just by itself?

Potentially. I wouldn’t argue it either way.
