https://beta.musicbrainz.org/tag/funny%20name
OK not the most interesting tag, but the contents of it is. I’ve been tagging any entity I encounter that gets a little chortle out of me

I’ve been doing the same with “silly name” (different from sillyname, mind you)
since adding Burning Mare II: Electric Scootaloo, I went through and tagged a bunch of entities called…
https://musicbrainz.org/tag/electric%20boogaloo
all these are referencing this, no I haven’t seen it:
I’ve recently been coming across a lot of lost media (stuff that’s not anywhere on the internet), and I’ve been tagging some of it, joining at least one other user
Peeetah what ar’ ya doin
I’ve finally started documenting some of the pseudo-worn cover art (which might be a more accurate tag than what I picked, but oh well) with a new tag:
https://musicbrainz.org/tag/fake%20worn%20cover%20art
for example, this digital release with fake vinyl wear:
there’s also of course, a couple more detailed tags, such as Tag “fake worn vinyl” - MusicBrainz and Tag “fake worn cassette” - MusicBrainz, for more specific wear patterns
That Knives Out cover just looks odd. Why did they not apply the effect to the colour part of the cover? Just gives it a weirdly faked \ not connected look. At least the Team Fortress 2 cover gets it right and applies wear to the top layer. I assume this tag could also include “coffee cup rings”
Maybe not so fun, a little morbid, but i’ve created this tag for releases released after an artists death:
https://beta.musicbrainz.org/tag/posthumous
Oh neat, I was thinking someone should make a post like this, and here it is.
I used to be into watching singing streamers on twitch, so one I really like is
https://musicbrainz.org/tag/twitch%20streamer
And I’ve had an interest in artists who only ever had one release so with the help of people on discord with a name, I started
https://musicbrainz.org/tag/one%20release%20discography
ooh, that’s the good stuff here~ Tag “x by x on x” - MusicBrainz is for where the track name, release name, and artist name are the same~ (Brouillard has naturally filled much of the tag, of course, lol)
You mean like Motörhead’s first track on their first album, Motörhead ?
hi! I’M BACK!!111
anyway I had an alt “zalgo” tag: Tag “he comes” - MusicBrainz it might be there?
doesn’t seem to be there either… the title was short in length and height, mostly symmetrical, and had no characters in the middle, kinda like this artist’s rendition from memory:
(I guess this isn’t the Great Folksonomy Tags thread, but the “help @UltimateRiff find that one Zalgo album” thread, lol)
edit: I just realized I accidentally drew a Corpus helmet from Warframe, lol
Found again at Super Ghostbusters | Vargskelethor
I lost it at the one where he just sings metallica instead lmao
did I just randomly search the word “fish” and see if something interesting would show up?
uh maybe!
I thought that is a silly tag indeed, but then I looked and tbh this booklet deserves all the tags in the world:
should ve create a tag “the booklet ever”?
