I added three works, with the intention that two would be sections of the first. The scenario is a choral evening service, with a separate Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis.
This is the first time I did this, and I managed to get the relationship the wrong way round, so the evening service was a part of the other two.
It seems removing the ‘part of’ relationship, even immediately, needs approval, so this isn’t something I could fix in a hurry.
I’ve renamed the erroneous works with ‘duff - please ignore’ and left them. I’m assuming the works will auto-delete in a few days, but possibly they won’t, as there are references between them.
Will the works auto-delete? Or, if not, is there a way to request a deletion?
Next time, the best thing to do is to edit the relationship to change the order (which is not automatic but not the end of the world, it would apply on expiration so if nobody votes in 7 days, the fix applies anyway).
Right now, the solution here is to remove every relationship on all works so they will be autoremoved - or to quickly fix and merge them. Since I can skip the voting period for fixing, I did that and entered a set of merges that can now be voted on
Next time you can edit the work where everything is link, click each pencil (edit relationship attributes) icons and then the Change direction buttons.
