A new version of the [#FestivalGuide](https://mastodon.social/tags/FestivalGuide) Android app was released. The biggest new feature is the use of the Event Art Archive. Posters and Banners are now shown like in the screenshot below.
In addition we changed the way to display the events you like.

I think that is too expensive. Donāt know exactly, but I heard 100$ annual for a developer account + iPhone as testing divice + mac something as build/development deviceā¦
With [Compose Multiplatform UI Framework | JetBrains](https://www.jetbrains.com/compose-multiplatform/) the coding part will not be that difficult. But iOs support is Beta right now.

The FestivalGuide wrapped has arrived with the new version. We call it Statistic.
You can find it under the three-dot-menu of the Events tab. You can share it as an image directly from there. Here is mine:

And there we have another version of FestivalGuide:
The schedule was moved to a new tab. For festivals with multiple days and stages it is now displayed more clearly. Each day now has its own tab.
Home location can now be set using text search provided by #Nominatim
Overall performance improovements for adding and updating events. This will save your time and takes some load from the #MusicBrainz servers.
Some bugs regarding planned and seen markers were fixed.

FestivalGuide version 0.125 is released
This is a small one. Detailed scores and other artists are no longer hidden in an expandable section.
The number of performing artists is now displayed on the event details screen.
The app is now available for Android 16 (API level 36).
And a small spoiler for the next version (beta since now): You will be able to import artists from ListenBrainz

With the new FestivalGuide version (0.127) you are able to import you top artists from ListenBrainz.
For now you are able to import the top 100 artists. If you want more options like time range selection or more than 100 artists, please tell me.

Unfortunately not. I focused on ListenBrainz first, because there we donāt need a login. But it is definitely a valid use case. I can also imagine to have a way to backup or sync the FestivalGuide artists to a collection. The new Version of FestivalGuide has no new features to offer.
But thanks to the development team, especially @bitmap, event fetching is way faster now.
Get it at GooglePlay or download the APK directly from Codeberg.

The new version of FestivalGuide supports concerts in addition to festivals. You can mark them as planned and seen and leave a note. On the artist screen you can see all future and past performances of the artist.
Tell me how you would integrate concerts further! Where to show and how to add them?

This post is about the last two versions. (Forgot to post about the previous)
The new features are:
- You can now view all concerts of the tour on the new Tour screen.
- The artist list is now searchable
- Added more statistics for concerts
- Added statistic for each year with data available and for total
I addition we got many bugs fixed.

In the new version the tour screen got extended by a map, showing each concert of the tour.
In addition you are now able to create calendar appointments from events.

I saw a increase in downloads of @FestivalGuide on @codeberg
Do some of my users lurk around here? Thank you for trying the app. I would appreciate any kind of constructive feedback.
Soon the app will reach a level at which I would say it provides a basic set of features I would need for my day to day usage.
After that I want you, the users, to get more involved in deciding what comes next.
