Creating a MB account with the API

Hi all, I am wondering if it is possible to create a MB account using the API?

If it is, could someone point me in the direction of the details how?

I stand to be corrected, but I don’t think such a thing exists. It sounds too much like an open invitation for spammers.

@rdswift is correct. Only signups via https://musicbrainz.org/register are supported—and it’s likely to remain so for the foreseeable future.

Update: With the OAuth2 Authorization Request phase, MB provides a link to Create a new account, if successful returns the required authorisation. So, in an indirect way you can…
