Clickable links in edit note

Will it be possible to make the links in the edit note field (or show them next to the textbox) clickable somehow? Maybe utilizing the url detection from the url archiver? Usecase: Have a seeded event with link to event homepage in the edit note and want to check something. Will spare some clicks.

I waited a bit to see if anyone had any answers because I’m having trouble with the questions.

Links in the edit notes are clickable once submitted. Do you mean before submission in or next to the form field? How would they get there?
I guess I didn’t get it

Why keep it in the edit notes? You can add the homepage in the proper relationship field to have it easily accessible.
For other important links that do not fit into an existing category, there is still the possibility of storing them in an annotation. One click from the main page of the respective item.

Maybe you can add a few words to your topic to help me understand.

Okay sorry, will clarify a little.

Yes, exactly that. They got there from the seed. The seed was generated automatically including the link in the edit note. If the person who enters the seed will no check something they need to copy the link to a new browser tab instead of just clicking it.

Not every link will fit in a url relation. For example the announcement of new artists for a festival. There often is a news entry on the homepage but that does not fit in any url relation.

And the link to the lineup page of a festival will also not fit anywhere.

That’s true though it’s not a big effort. Maybe it could be done with a script, but I have no idea how to do it.

If the URL is only available for a short time, it is not very helpful in the Edit Note either. If there is hope that it will be available for longer, I would put it in an Annotation. For me that’s sufficient.

But I don’t know your workflow. Maybe someone else can help.
