CC what does it mean?

When C.C. is mentioned as composer/lyricist what do they mean and what do I use in MB?

see track 4:

I’ve never seen it before, but it might have something to do with the song being a translation (as the credit is specifically for “Dutch lyrics”.

Just a wild guess:

In this context, could C.C. mean that the track is a Country Cover?
This could refer to a Dutch album credit using “Ned. Tekst” (“Dutch lyrics”) when an artist writes new Dutch lyrics for an existing foreign song. The appearance of C.C. alongside “Ned. Tekst” could indicate that the underlying composition is an international country song, with the listed Dutch writers having only provided the localised lyrics.

@ Meulenbeld I don’t think it’s for Dutch lyrics cos it also says Ned tekst H. Wijngaard en M. Sterken

So I assume it’s a translated song

@ Invisible: I was just typing this whaahaha

So what am I supposed to add to MB then. Translator H. Wijngaard (Henk Wijngaard) and M. Sterken (Martin Sterken) So… what do I need to use for the CC

Writer Unknown?

I’m not sure if you’ll find this information helpful:
YouTube and Discogs

Unfortunately, I can’t help you with the question about what to add.

Thank you Invisible, I have found those also. Maybe some one else has more info. Am I allowed to use composer info on youtube?

Could it stand for “Creative Commons”.

Maybe… I dont know… if so what am I supposed to with it…………

If I can use the composer info on that youtube thingy then the problem is solved, at least for this song. But I dont know if I’m allowed to use youtube as a source

same problem but look how this editor has done the edit

I dont thonk this is right either cos the first song is a translated song

Microsoft Co-Pilot told me this “In Danish/Norwegian classical booklets, “C.C.” = “Composition/Composer” (sometimes rendered as “Composition/Composer credit” or “Composition copyright”).”

This is for a work or recording relationship, right? Works and recordings are not specific to any one release, so there’s no reason to limit yourself to the info printed in one release when editing works or recordings.

For something like this I’d personally be fine using YouTube as a source, with different degrees of authoritativeness depending on the channel. If the official music video on the artist’s or record label’s channel says that the lyrics were written by someone, I’d use that as a source by itself[1]. If a fan/bootleg channel said it, I might use it to help search for a more trustworthy corroborating source somewhere else.
