I have specific question regarding categorizing or having my MP3 list with African countries as well as the language of the MP3. I have 53 countries song and most of them on a total 280 languages for example, I have one artist sings in English, French, Portuguese, and Swahili. How can I categorizing the list of each his songs and for the rest of 53 country including for the 280 language mp3 in language and countries list to help us on our radio show?
Yes, using MusicBrainz Picard
You will likely want to make sure all your files exist in MusicBrainz first. Check https://musicbrainz.org/doc/How_to_Contribute#Data and https://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Category:How_To for pointers on how to get started editing. Or feel free to ask in #musicbrainz if you have any questions. (We also have a couple of video tutorials on MusicBrainz, if that’s more your thing: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDFCBbxgWJO91l_gjU8MCY5Ri4VnfmNo2 )
Note that the lyrics/sung language of a Recording is inferred from an associated Work and right now Works can only have one lyrics language set. However, MBS-5452 is right now being worked on by one of the MusicBrainz developers for the upcoming schema change release, so after May 15th it should be possible to associate multiple lyrics languages to a single Work.
