So, basically, I’m trying to find a band I know that was from the 60s, but I can’t remember much about them, except that they have a song with the word “fire” on the title.
I know that if I see the name of the band, I will remember it, but if I try to search for the word “fire” on musicbrainz, it finds more than 150,000 results. I was hoping to search for the word “fire”, but only on the songs released on the 60s, but I couldn’t understand how to do it.
You can use Indexed search with advanced query syntax to refine the search:
A query fire AND date:[1960 TO 1969] on recordings will narrow it down to 717 results 
If it gets limited to recording names containing fire (assuming the linked recording name is similar to the track name) we get it down to even 288 results
