Hello-
To discover bands/music worth buying, I have gathered about 7,000 bootleg recordings and am listening to them through plexamp (sonic analysis is awesome!). Though all the artists come up, only about 10% are categorized as “live” albums.
The concerts have been cut into individual tracks. All have been carefully and consistently labeled. Each concert also has an individual blog post with a photo from the show and a paragraph description.
I don’t mind letting Picard (or some other program) scan a chunk of the library each day when I leave for work… but with 2 kids under 10 I don’t have time to manually “do stuff” with 7000+ individual file sets.
I could give up, or:
If what I am able to do sounds worthwhile in some way, let me know how to help.
If you want to have a look at the blogger pages I got the music from, let me know (not sure if posting links is frowned upon?).
Thanks!
