Hi All,
Could someone explain why for some albums even if there is a front cover artwork available, Picard is not retrieving it from Musicbrainz?
Here are examples of such albums:
Thanks for any hint.

Interesting… I just pasted that URL into Picard’s search… and repeated your issue. No artwork downloaded.
Hmm, seems to load alright on my machine?
Do you have any restrictions set in Options? Here’s what I’ve got:
@rhetticent, thanks for checking.
I have no restriction whatsoever.
I’m macOS and it seems you are on another OS.
Therefore, I will try with another OS to check if the issue is located at this level.
I just tried with the version 2.8.5 on Windows and it works.
I guess, I’ll need to file a bug report.
Wonky - I tried it on a macOS machine and it seemed to load alright there as well:
Have you checked the error/debug log for any messages?
Working fine for me also.
Actually, it works on macOS when I start Picard with the administrator accound (sudo).
That is really weird, because the same configuration file is used.
I will further investigate and let you know.
BTW, in the logs, the front image is effectively rejected when I use my “normal” account:
D: 22:43:46,044 coverart/providers/caa._caa_json_downloaded:605: CAA types: included: ['front'], excluded: ['raw/unedited', 'watermark']
D: 22:43:46,044 coverart/providers/caa._caa_json_downloaded:629: CAA image rejected: http://coverartarchive.org/release/7c77759b-6735-46c6-8826-60e4712d54a2/18614448516.png ['unknown']
And it is accepted when I run Picard as a sudoer:
D: 22:44:09,942 coverart/providers/caa._caa_json_downloaded:605: CAA types: included: ['front'], excluded: ['raw/unedited', 'watermark']
D: 22:44:09,942 coverart/providers/caa._caa_json_downloaded:629: CAA image accepted: http://coverartarchive.org/release/7c77759b-6735-46c6-8826-60e4712d54a2/18614448516.png ['front']
Really weird…
@tigerman325, on which OS are you?
Also, I tried having the default configuration. The behaviour is the same.
Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version 21H2 Build 19044.2364
Picard Version 2.8.5
Mine failed on a v3.8.5, Win10 Pro edition… weird… mine is set to “all art” and neither front nor back appear.
