Picard does write TXXX/Artists (id3) and ARTISTS (Vorbis)

Yes, that’s just missing. There are actually some other inconsistencies there, I will submit a fix for it.

Just curious, what are the other inconsistencies?

Also the Ape tags need rework (the casing is wrong), but I have not yet fixed that.
