Any way to make work editing less tedious?

Using work-adding user scripts such as the one for JASRAC has allowed me to understand the works system better, and also helped in linking relevant ID and code information, but in exchange it has made the addition of works in general a lot less swift or easy and it seems to have no possible batch operations in place for it.

And another thing that has been a problem for me before that is that correcting works on a release-wide basis (or just adding information to them) tends to be massively time-consuming, especially with the ones that have many tracks (taking up to 30 minutes or more for a single page).

Is there any way at all to handle works in batches beyond the initial creation process (and adding relationships), or do all the additions from other databases as well as corrections have to be done manually each time?
