Hi there, I built this self hosted tool, am-discovery, for monitoring artists and discovering new music, backed by Apple Music API. I also find this useful for seeding web releases to Musicbrainz, it link to Harmony to do that.
Main Features:
- Polls Apple Music new-release pages across multiple storefronts (US, JP, HK, etc.)
- Poll multiple storefront for release metadata, eg Japanese album will have different localization of track name, this tool can surface that differences.
- Artist watchlist. Periodically fetch artist full catalog, useful for singles or albums that doesnt appear on new release page.
- MusicBrainz seeding ā flag releases missing from MusicBrainz and link artist MBIDs, with a background scanner and browser-side Harmony seeding
- Apprise notifications ā send push/webhook alerts on discovery runs, watchlist batches, and new releases/singles from watched artists, with per-event customizable templates
