I would like to add the year to the end my music files without changing the existing artist - title. The existing files are they way I want them in proper case also. Adding the year would just make it easier for me to make a playlist at any time for a certain period. I also don’t want the month or day to show. I tried putting 4 after date but in a test since would still have the month n day.
You can try to add $left(%date%,4) to the end of your file naming script.

I did and some files still had month day. I only working with like 50 as a test before I do them all. That would also change my original file name in some cases. Maybe I have to use a keep cmd
